The Maternal Newborn Nursing exam is a professional certification examination administered by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). It is designed to test the specialized knowledge and skills of registered nurses (RNs) who provide care to childbearing women from pregnancy up to six weeks postpartum, as well as the care of their newborns. Successfully passing the exam grants the Registered Nurse Certified in Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) credential.
