Common skills include handwashing, taking vital signs, assisting with ambulation, and helping patients with daily activities. You’ll be randomly assigned a set of skills to perform, and you must complete them correctly to pass this section.
Preparation is key! Use CNA practice tests to familiarize yourself with the types of questions you’ll encounter. Review study guides, flashcards, and online resources. Practicing the hands-on skills with classmates or instructors can also boost your confidence for the skills evaluation.
