The CGRN exam is a computer-based test consisting of 175 multiple-choice questions. Of these, 150 are scored, and 25 are unscored pretest questions. The content is divided into three main domains:

You will have 3-4 hours to complete the CGRN exam. The exam is computer-based and administered at designated Prometric testing centers, allowing you to work through the questions at your own pace within the allotted time.
The computer-administered exam is offered twice per year during two established testing windows, typically in the spring (May) and the fall (October). The exam is taken at various Prometric testing centers across the U.S. and Canada.
